BULLES AU CENTRE,

WHAT IS IT ?

What if the very first fair where sparkling wines
producers gather from all over the world took place in the Val de Loire?

Because bubbles are reminiscent of celebration, the idea of organising a yearly appointment dedicated to the Ancestral Method quickly brewed up.

Bulles au Centre

Winemakers, brewers and cider apple producers gather every summer towards the middle of July, in order to celebrate the freshness and spontaneousness of the bubbles.

In ideal conditions for tasting and savouring, original creations such as elderberry lemonade and sparkling sake are elbowing their way in next to more classical products – Limoux Blanquettes, Australian sparkling wines or ones from Languedoc.

There, you will savour lively liquids, but it’s a whole spirit that boils up – with booths or exhibitions from potters, ceramicists, bakers, painters, pastry chefs, butchers and photographs. It is the celebration of a wide array of artisanal productions that is celebrated.

The first edition took place at la Chancellerie in Montrichard (Loir-et-Cher, 41) in 2014 with two dozens of winemakers, ‘all pals’. The following three editions gained access to the cellars under the donjon of the city castle and the Hôtel d’Effiat.
